Celebration Jamaica and Harmony Cove to Break Ground on Casino Resorts by Summer
Construction work with what could be Jamaica’s first built-in casino resort is likely to start in 2016, local media reported. Celebration Jamaica Resort & Casino will feature 2,000 resort rooms, a casino, and a true quantity of activity and meals and beverage options.
The complex will occupy a 75-acre parcel of land positioned in Rose Hill, in the Montego Bay Area. The project will be rolled down in a number of stages. The total amount of $500 million is anticipated to be spent on the completion of stage 1.
At first, the resort will provide 1,000 rooms in hotels, with 1,000 more to be added down the road.
